Warwick Mihaly
Principal Architect
Warwick is a leader in the architecture profession. He is instrumental in championing positive change within the industry through mentoring the next generation of architects through lecturing, as director of ArchiTeam architects’ association, and through founding and cultivating Australia’s most widely read business blog for architects, Panfilo.
Warwick’s editorials have featured widely (The Age, Crikey, ArchitectureAU); topics include Explaining the architectural fee, Quality not quantity, and Our work is all about you. At the University of Melbourne, Warwick received the Castles, Stephenson, and Turner award for the student most likely to positively affect the architecture profession.
Prior to launching Mihaly Slocombe, Warwick worked at one of Melbourne’s largest architecture firms on large commercial projects, and at Perkins Architects, a boutique practice where he became adept at managing complex stakeholder environments on public and community projects within strict programs, budgets and regulatory requirements.
In his spare time, Warwick runs a lot and buys LEGO sets that he pretends are for his children.
