Sinead Lim
Project Architect
Mihaly Slocombe appealed to Sinead’s desire to solve human problems and drive improved user experience through design. “Architecture, for me, is not really about buildings. It’s about people.”
As project architect working on all stages of our designs, her approach is informed by extensive experience in both domestic and international architecture. A natural curiosity has driven work spanning education and civic, residential, hospitality and retail typologies, from Harbin Opera House in Beijing to RMIT’s Carlton library in Melbourne.
No matter the project scale, Sinead is energised by architecture’s capacity to improve people’s lives.
Committed to robust discussion and education, she shares her learnings with the architectural graduates in our office, and in her formal capacity teaching a Master of Architecture studio at the University of Melbourne.
Sinead loves eating yum cha with family and friends, and completes mundane tasks like cleaning with extreme precision. She also loves playing pool at her local pub, and heads to the coast whenever she can.
