Studio Manager

Hiring Leanne as our studio manager was a natural next step for Mihaly Slocombe.

Before joining us, Leanne spent the better part of her career managing operations at advertising and design agencies in Sydney. These were fast-paced industries, where she learned that information systems and improved communication between teams made for great design outcomes, and happier and better-informed clients. At Mihaly Slocombe, Leanne has made it her mission to apply fast-game client responsiveness to the long-game practice of architecture.

Having a strong appreciation for art and design (she previously worked at Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art), Leanne was naturally drawn to architecture, where she sees technical skill and creativity combine to serve unique client need.

A former Sydneysider, Leanne now enjoys exploring Melbourne with her family. She also shares a love of Italy with principals Erica and Warwick, and occasionally tests out her Italian language skills in the office.
