And the beautiful Heide extension by @oconnorandhoule revealed an exhibition on the career and works of furniture designers Grant and Mary Featherstone. It was intriguing to see how the lush, upholstered pieces of the 1970s gave way to the industrial, plastic and aluminium pieces of the 1980s. From laborious but enduring to ubiquitous but unremarkable.
