Just two gabled roofs hanging out.

On the right, the original home’s roofline has been extended out to accommodate the bedrooms and living area. Its smaller counterpart on the left is the extension. It mimics the existing house’s form and wraps up the dining, kitchen, laundry and informal entry into a friendly and familiar package.
