Jake’s journey: working his way through the great architecture of the United States, Jake’s third favourite building so far is the VDL Research House by Richard Neutra, Los Angeles 1932. The house burned down in 1963, destroying many of Neutra’s sketchbooks and library, and was rebuilt with his son, Dion, the following year. Photo by Michael Locke.
