We attended the @msdsocial Dean’s Lecture by Achim Menges on Wednesday night. This is the 2017 ICD-ITKE research pavilion at the University of Stuttgart. Extrapolating his prior carbon filament work, the extreme cantilever of this pavilion was achieved off site by two robotic arms and an aerial drone. Needs to be seen to be believed.
